Mandy Wimmer OBrien

Mandy Wimmer O'Brien is a lifelong musician, having studied piano, clarinet and voice since childhood. She has been playing, accompanying and directing professionally for over 16 years. She has six years experience teaching children, teens, and adults instrumental and choral music. When she's not teaching Music Together classes, Mandy can be found accompanying and singing in choirs, performing in bands and orchestras, directing handbell ensembles, and performing with community theater groups.

Mandy graduated with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies (Music, Chemistry, and Political Science) from Millikin University School of Music in Illinois in 2001. She successfully completed the Music Together Teaching Workshop, developed by the Center for Music and Young Children in Princeton, NJ, in April 2010. Mandy also enjoys teaching piano to young students and maintains a private piano studio.
